16.Time to get emotional. Saw them both at Staples in Mar 2005. Styx followed REO Speedwagon. They couldn’t musically compare to REO and many arrangements sucked. “Come Sail Away” was bitterly bad. Worst of all they were vulgar and disgusting. Then came Journey. I said then came JOURNEY! A glorious 120 minutes. Without a doubt the greatest live rock show you’ll every see (regardless of the singer.) You can’t top Jonathon Cain, Ross Valory, Deen Castronovo, and most of all Neal Schon (his one-time mentor teacher Carlos Santana once said “the student has exceeded the master.”)
