It sounds interesting right? Wouldn’t it be awesome if I was referring to a house owned by one of the actors who played a munchkin in The Wizard of Oz? Let me just say it’s waaaaaaaayyyyyyy better.
Here is the story – We were on our way to the airport and I was following the sound of my female British navigator…whom, by the way, hates Americans -as she continued to give us wrong directions…Anyway, we miss the exit and she does the whole recalculating bit…little did I know she was taking us to Mecca.
We got off the interstate hungry when we see a chick fil-a. But not just any Chick Fil – A…The ORIGINAL DWARF HOUSE CHICK FIL – A. It’s a sit down restaurant. The serve your food on plates and have waffles and burgers….it was AMAZING. Apparently the Chick Fil-A sandwich began at this little place called the Dwarf House (BTW – they have a mini red door you can walk through.) and after several years an empire was built.
I’m not gonna lie – It was a great way to end our trip…of course it did force me to take back all of the dispareging commments I made about the British Woman. Here are some pictures of said Dwarf House. If you ever get a chance, it’s like 2 miles from the airport…and totally worth it.
